Communities in Bloom is a Canadian non-profit organization committed to fostering civic pride, environmental responsibility, beautification and to improving quality of life through community participation and the challenge of a national program, with focus on the protection and promotion of green spaces.

Volunteers Needed: Communities in Bloom 2010
The Municipality of Trent Hills is very interested in competing in the Communities in Bloom for 2010.  The nationally run competition was created to help judge and recognize local villages, towns, and cities in their commitment to helping make their community a better place to live.
Trent Hills was a participant in 2009 and received the highest award of 5 Blooms.
Trent Hills would like to now open our committee to all interested community individuals to help our Communities in Bloom Committee create a more vibrant environmentally conscious community in Trent Hills.  We need your involvement.
Participation could involve a one time event or help with ongoing community projects.  The possibilities are endless and your help is needed.
Please call Scott Rose at 705-653-1900 ext 233 to discuss the idea.
I look forward to meeting you.

Trent Hills Received 5 out of 5 Bloom for 2009!
On October 3, 2009 the Ontario Communities in Bloom judging results were announced at special ceremony in Vaughn.  Representatives from the Trent Hills Committee were able to attend and received a plaque for 5 blooms out of 5 with a special mention for Westben Arts Festival Theatre.  This is the highest ranking offered by the program and the first time Trent Hills has received this result.  A great deal of appreciation is extended to the Trent Hills Communities in Bloom Committee for their leadership and committment to this program.  In addition, thank to you all the organizations, individuals and businesses that made an extra effort this year to beautify Trent Hills and showcase all the amazing attributes of our community!
