The Municipality of Trent Hills proclaims November 25, 2024 as International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
Woman Abuse Prevention Month is the month of November. Community leaders are asked to please take action by supporting the Wrapped in Courage campaign and show support for gender equality. The
theme of this years Wrapped in Courage Campaign is “Weaving Purple: Threads of Collective Gender-Based Violence Action”. The awareness, action and commitment of every community member across Ontario is a vital thread in realizing the vision of a future free of gender-based violence and oppression.
