Public Notice: Request for Proposal for the former Campbellford / Seymour Arena and Parking Lot Lands

Take Notice that the Municipality of Trent Hills has declared the Campbellford / Seymour Arena located at 313 County Rd. 38 and the Parking Lot located at 305 County Rd. 38, surplus to the needs of the Municipality, and intends to sell the lands for future development.

Submissions are to be submitted to the Acting Clerk of the Municipality of Trent Hills by 4:00 p.m. (local time) on March 31st, 2025.

The highest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted, and Municipal Council may choose to retain the lands for a future process.

Land Acknowledgement

We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.

Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.

Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
