Postal Interruption Notice

Due to the Canada Post labour disruption, the Municipality of Trent Hills will not be sending any mail, including notices and bills, and may also be unable to accept incoming mail. Residents and service partners who have recently received an invoice are still required to pay their bills on time, despite the disruption.

Residents are urged to visit or reach out to the Municipal Office to make payments or arrange payment plans.

This notice will be revised if there are any changes to the situation.

September 16-22, 2024 proclaimed as World Mitochondrial Disease Week

The Municipality of Trent Hills proclaims September 16-22, 2024 as 
World Mitochondrial Disease Week 

From September 16th to the 22nd, 2024, the global mitochondrial disease community will unite to raise awareness for those living with mitochondrial disease.

A number of activities are planned to support the Canadian mitochondrial community and contribute to global awareness efforts.

Land Acknowledgement

We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.

Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.

Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
